More Mulberry Wood sneak peeks

Good evening a late one for me today as I have had quite a busy one, after having a very upset 10 year old with an ear infection this morning who so badly wanted to be at his last sports day at primary, we decided to let him go. I can't tell you how proud I was of him he was made captain of his team and was fantastic!! and his team won which meant he got to lift the trophy :0) Any way onto today's sneak peek...

I have used a decoupage sheet from the cd rom which had a few little extra embellishments on including paper beads which I am loving right now!!

A very clean and simple card for me but I think it works well and the image is definitely one of my favourites on the cd rom.

Don't forget Crafters Comapnion will be launching the cd rom and stamps this Friday...I can't wait for the shows! I know everyone is going to love it, I am still full of ideas of projects I want to get started on :0)

Thank you for stopping by today and welcome to my new followers and of course thank you for all your lovely comments :0)

I'm still here!!! Wahoo...just in time for blog hop time :0)

Well I'm back...what with gallivanting and Royal Ascot and football tournaments and school meetings I haven't done much else......except having a play and making samples which I haven't been able to share, hence no posts. I am here today though to share a sneak peek from a new range from Crafters Companion, I in my opinion it is one of there best yet, I'm liking it just as much as Humphery and that's saying something!! So to celebrate the launch we are having a blog hop, yay!

As many of you know, Christmas starts in June for many papercrafters, so Crafter's Companion are starting to feel a little festive, launching the first of a new range, with artwork designed by artist Ian Hallows. The ‘Christmas in Mulberry Wood’ range (including six stamps, co-ordinating CD-ROM and two papercrafting collections by Hunkydory) will be Pick of the Week on Create & Craft from Midday on Friday!

To celebrate the launch, Crafter's Companion have organised a Blog Hop around some of the Design Team's blogs! If you have landed here from Pam's blog then you are hopping in the right direction. If not then you need to pop over to the Crafters Companion Newsblog to begin.

Everyone on the Design Team had so much fun creating with this new range from Crafter’s Companion and to celebrate the launch of these stunning new collections on Friday 29th June you have the chance to win the brand new 'Christmas in Mulberry Wood' CD-ROM.

All you need to do to be in with a chance of winning this great prize is visit each blog in order and then go back to the Crafter’s Companion News Views and Inspiration Blog to leave a comment about the range and the sneak peeks you’ve seen. On Friday June 29th, Crafter's Companion will pick two comments at random, to win the prize.

Here is what I have made using the cd with one sheet from the arid companion section and some of the gorgeous papers...

What's that then you say, well it my first ever double twisted easel card and certainly not my last :0)

I used my spray and sparkle which looks much better in real life.

I hope you like what you have seen so far :0)
From here, you need to hop to Gemma’s blog.

Keep popping back each day this week to see more sneak peeks!

bye for now, hugs B xx

An A-May-Zing Christmas

Well have I been a bad blogger :0( I have so busy lately with DT stuff and life in general I have had to put blogging aside. I promise I will catch up with all your lovely creations, it will probably take me all week lol

Today I wanted to share a couple of cards with you using some stamps from Nigel May's A-May-Zing range and this time it's Christmas and it is fab!! There is a truly A-May-Zing double disc cd rom and 12 rubber stamps. The products will be launched at 9.00pm tonight on Ideal World, it will be great!

The image is coloured with my Speccies and I used papers from the cd rom, the postcard is also on there ( there is a whole section of them) I distressed it with my inks and added a ribbon and bit of bling and hey presto! :0)

The next card is totally different and less traditional...

I used my speccies and also added some detail using my quickie glue pen and embossing powder. Again the papers are great! This one really looks if it has metallic silver on it but is actually printed :0)

I hope you like the cards and can tune into Ideal World tonight at 9.00pm. Apologies again for not being around I will hopefully soon be back in the swing of things!

A wedding card and a plea

......no more rain!!!! Not sure anyone will be able to do anything but hey was worth a try. I am a little emotional today, this morning I had to wave goodbye to my eldest son who is 10 yrs old. He and his class mates have gone on their school trip and will be back Friday, they are not allowed to phone home which I don't really like but apparently it's all part of the adventure and growing up. I am sure he will have a blast none the less and will have plenty to tell me when he gets back!

This afternoon I have a wedding card to share that I was asked to make for someone. I keep thinking about getting another wedding stamp but I love this one.

I stamped the image onto Neenah card and coloured it in with my Spectrum Noir pens. I actually used my Sweets and cupcake treats embossing board from Crafters Companion and embossed and cut out a circle removing the embossed line which I then stuck onto a black circle which was embossed from the same design but this time I left the embossed line on. I was then able to stamp the image onto it using my rock-a-block. I embossed and cut out the wavy circle and nested the image onto it. Here's a close up of the image.

I decorated with my usual flowers and flourishes and personalised with the couples name.

I hope you like and thank you for stopping by today. Also welcome to my new followers I really appreciate you all takin the time to visit me.

Bye for now, hugs

Swinging by...

Good evening everyone I hope that you are enjoying your weekend. This evening I have a card to share with you using the Swinging by stamp from the Humphreys Corner range from Crafters Companion. Here is what I have made.

I cut an aperture in the card base and then cut lottie out and stuck her so it looks like the swing is hanging.

Rather than use papers from the cd I have decided to make a stand (against myself lol) and use up my papers as it is verging on ridiculous lol. I stamped the image onto Neenah card and coloured in with my Spectrum noir pens. Here is another close up pic.

Thank you for stopping by and again for all your wonderful comments that you leave they really are very much appreciated :0)

LOTV and my fave colour combo :0)

Good evening everyone, what a wet and miserable day it has been today :0(.

Today I have 2 cards to share I used the same layout and colour combo as the cards were going to a joint 4th birthday party so thought it would be better if they looked alike. I used stamps from LOTV, I love their stamps!

The pink papers are from the Tim Holtz shabby chic pad and the turquoise is from a pad I brought back from the U.S. I stamped the image on to Neenah Card and coloured in with my Spectrum Noir pens.

Here is the second card...

I did actually add the ages to the cards and names to both but had to rush to finish them and forgot to take a pic.

Thank you for taking the time to visit me today and for all your lovely comments you have been leaving me I very much appreciate them :0)

Back to normality....

Good morning all and welcome to my new followers I hope you all enjoyed the jubilee weekend and had lots of fun! I had a great time with family and friends I even had a couple of girly nights out!... well the boyfriend was on a stag weekend in Magaluf so why should the girls miss out on all the fun lol :0)

Today I have a wedding card to share....not your typical wedding card but the lady who ordered the card wanted to try and add the theme so this is what I came up with.....

So the colour theme was purples and creams and as you can see I was asked to include a scooter on there. Straight away I thought of the digi image from Teddy Bo.
Here is a close up...

I printed the image onto Neenah card and coloured the image in using my Spectrum Noir pens. I used some paper from my Autumn/winter Fairyopolis cd and decorated with some die cut flowers and swirls. I personalised the card with their name and used one of my LOTV sentiment stamps.

I hope you like and thank you for taking the time to stop by and visit me today
